I’m back in Alaska now after going to Las Vegas for Blog World Expo and PostieCon07. I had a great time down there and learned a lot, particularly at PostieCon, where they had an unveiling of their new platform SocialSpark.

Right now I am still settling in after all the excitement of what happened and all the people I met and everything, so I will talk about it all later over on my travel blog site at Phantascene.com’s Travel Journal check that site out if you want to see more about my trip as I get it written.

I’ve flown down to Las Vegas to attend Blog World Expo and go to PostieCon, should be one heck of a weekend for me and my friend who is going to come stay with me here and go to both conventions with me. I’m going to be following my adventures over at my novel website Heir to Magic and uploading pictures of what is going on while I am here at that website, so feel free to stop by there and check it out.

It is official, and everything is in place, I am going to Blog World Expo next month down in Las Vegas, NV.

I’m rather excited about getting the chance to go, since this will be the first business trip I have gone on.  LOL  One thing that got me was the prices on hotel and airfare.  I booked my trip using Orbitz, after extensive searching for which online company had the best deal on hotel and airfare for this, and it ended up when I searched a few days before and after the convention dates that I could get a better deal by staying a few extra days.  So I am actually arriving a couple of days before the convention and leaving a few days after it.  Insane, I know, but I’m guessing it was flights booked up (my flight out of Alaska I got the last seat on the plane) and airfare prices higher for weekend travel etc.  I know the hotel was three times more on the weekend than on a weekday.

But, the important thing is that I am gong. ::happy dance::
