Internet Explorer has forced massive revisions to the themes on many of my blogs, because I had been using the same general theme on many of them.  The other day I discovered that the sites were not displaying properly in Internet Explorer.  Firefox was showing them just fine, but there was a serious flaw in how they were showing up in Internet Explorer (no idea what Netscape and others were up to with it).

So, now I have started going through them and revising the themes on my WordPress blogs that had the flawed theme on them.  Oh the joy… you can just feel how thrilled I am to have to do this, can’t you?  ::flops on desk in theatrical collapse::.

Add to that the fact that some of my sites seem to be giving me fits about loading up for me to see them and I am getting close to screaming insanely as I pound my head on the desk.

So, tonight I work on the theme for this blog so the thing will be Internet Explorer friendly.

I have been a little busy keeping up with my websites now that they are all back up to working and getting some articles written.  Seems like I have to steal free time to spend with my friends, but I have been making some time for that since it is important to get in some relaxation as well as work.  Trying to spend all my time working is a sure path to burnout, I know, I’ve been there and done that.  So I am taking it easy this week and just fiddling on the websites where they need some  tinkering.

And speaking of needing tinkering.  I am going to be trying to work on some articles for this site, and maybe doing some  tinkering to the theme I am using on it.  Not sure exactly what to be doing yet, so feel free to offer up suggestions and input.

I had just wrote a nice long post about something here and through a fumble as I was making sure the thing was going to look right when it posted I erased it.  Dang thing should have been autosaving, but it didn’t.  Really annoys me.  Looking like one of them “nothing is going to go right” days.  Particularly since most of my websites seem to be unreachable once again.  I need to get that SNAFU fixed.  grrrrr

Tonight I am going to be doing some behind the scenes maintenance on my office, both the physical one I am working from now and the online one where you are reading this.  I’ll also be getting some work on my other online office, The Writing Office to help me with updates to some things that I have been working on over the past couple of weeks and to get ready for what I hope to be a much more productive year ahead.

I have downloaded a program to help me keep my websites updated, this is just a test post to see if it will post things correctly for me.
