I got the video finished, ended up using Audacity to play with some audio I recorded from my out of tune piano, making some kind of odd futuristic style of music I guess you could call it. I played the piano for a little while, then picked out a short section that sounded okay, then made three different tracks and cut and pasted sections until I had a usable piece then… I turned it around and played it in reverse.
The resulting audio was used as background music on a video. While it turned out decent enough in a pinch, I am going to be playing more with this methd of creating background sound tracks so that I have a few really good sounding sequences that I can use on future videos without the scrabble to figure out creating the audio I need.
