I’ve started working on revising the code over at Phantascene.com, which is my primary website even if it does look really lousy right now. I am trying to figure out how to move the blog posts from the Notebooks section of the site to display on the main page of the site without losing the entire site to a massive FUBAR situation.
I figured out how to modify WordPress so that I can have my blog showing up on the root directory of my site rather than having it out on it’s own in the directory that WordPress is installed in. That makes things so much easier for me, now I can start working on setting things up around the main page with just the one program rather than having to call up different programs from different directories to get this looking how I want it to.
I’ve got the board that I need to finish the desk area in the office, so I am going to be in there working on that for a while tomorrow, see if I can finish things off enough to set up the new printer that I got today.
I am going to be working on the office this week. I got a bunch of work done on it, but decided that I had to get myself a few things before I could do much more.
Trip to town yesterday after my dad had a physical therapy appointment brought home some power tools. A router bench, a table saw, a box of router bits and a tool bag deal with a skilsaw, sander and drill in it. Now I get to set myself up a nice workshop and start making fancy shelving and stuff for my office and the rest of the house.
